July 1,2021 will mark the 1 year anniversary of Hotels Live in here in Alberta.
It’s been an unprecedented year of producing safe in-person, live music concerts and events, where patrons can view shows from the luxury of their Hotel Balcony Suites. Concert stages are located on pool decks, parking lots and atriums, essentially re-purposing Hotels into safe live music venues throughout this pandemic. Because people are socially distanced from each other on balconies, they do not count in any of the gathering restrictions, therefore, Hotels Live has been are able to gather up to 400 patrons at a time, singing, drinking& dancing together again at two Calgary hotel properties – Ramada Plaza Calgary Downtown (Outdoor shows) & Delta Hotels by Marriott South Calgary(Indoor Atrium).
To Date, Hotels Live has produced 50+ concert/ events over the last 11 months, creating hundreds of jobs for the beleaguered arts community, its ecosystem and the hotel & hospitality sectors here in Calgary, all hardest hit by this pandemic. Thousands of patrons have been able to exclusively experience this innovative concert model and enjoy the benefits of its mental-wellness initiatives, during these most challenging times. Hotels Live has amazingly sold 3,500+ hotel rooms to 10,000+ patrons, with ZERO reported cases onCOVID-19 transmission from any of its events. They are supported by AHS and endorsed by the Government of Alberta.
Today, we announce the launch of Hotels Live in Edmonton at the Ramada Edmonton South at5359 Calgary Trail and our first of many concert announcements to come:
